Plaza de Chess is an activation by The Plaza Conservancy in partnership with Silicon Valley Chess Community — Northern California’ largest and most active chess movement. The fast-growing community hosts weekly chess nights in bars across San Francisco and the South Bay. Plaza de Chess is intended to be a space to meet people, play fun games and interact with real humans over a board, at a beautiful park in the center of the city.
